THE PEACE WE ENJOY IN OUR UNIVERSITY IS A RESULT OF THE GOOD GOVERNANCE IN ANAMBRA STATE - Prof. Ahaneku

Speaking during a condolence visit by the people's Senator, Chief Dr. Victor Umeh, Ohamadike Ndigbo last Sunday 13th March 2016, the Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Joseph Ahaneku expressed great satisfaction with the way the current administration has successfully Piloted the affairs of governance in the state especially in the areas of security.

Professor Ahaneku noted that UNIZIK has been Peaceful even when other institutions were undergoing one problem or another and the academic activities of the institution have remained consistent and never been interrupted by any form of Irregularities crediting it to the effort of the state government led by Chief Dr Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano, Akpokuedike Global the Executive Governor of Anambra State.

He also emphasized that the APGA government has brought tremendous change in the state ranging from Agriculture, Commerce and Industry, lnfrastructural development, Road networks, and most importantly, Security of lives and properties amongst others. He thanked Chief Dr Victor Umeh for remembering them in such difficult moment when their family were mourning their late mother Lady (Lolo) Elizabeth Adaure Ahaneku and prayed God to grant him ( Ohamadike Ndigbo ) success in his Senatorial ambition pointing out that Chief Dr Victor Umeh possess everything needed for the effective representation of Anambra Central and would protect the Igbo interest as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Ohamadike Ndigbo accompanied by his wife Chief Mrs Prisca Umeh, Osodieme and the Chairman of Anaocha local government area, Hon Engr. IKeobi Ejiofor consoled the family for their loss and prayed for the repose of the soul of their mother. He also promised to always be by the family and the university in every possible ways.

Chief Dr. Victor Umeh FNIVS, OFR, KSJI ( Ohamadike Ndigbo ) Remains the WISE CHOICE for Bold, Strong and Courageous Representation for Anambra Central and lgbos at large.
