--- This is to warn all nagaff members who may be usually non compliant to import and export regulations of the FGN and customs formalities inparticular to exercise restraint and adopt the principles of best practices ,  There is no doubt that the slogan of change is coming with constitutional and institutional  application of rules to alter  as usual syndrom of our life style , It is therefore our advise that nagaff members should educate and enlighten  all our principals as to the benefit inherent in respecting and obeying the laws governing international trade and customs formalities  in nigeria ,  The concept of making honest and sincere declaration of import and export goods for customs purposes is the tonic required by all concerned  thereafter the 29th of may 2015  transition to new administration , The signs are obvious that the incoming administration among other sectors of the economy may zero down to the ports and border operations as the gate way of the nigeria economy , It is already in the public domain that ports , energy  and oil and gas sector of the economy are critical sectors if we must fight corruption to re-invent nigeria for developement and prosperity ,  Without prejudice to import and export guideline of 2006 it is  an offense against customs law for an untrue declaration of goods to be made for customs purposes ,  May we therefore call to order all nagaff members to best practices in the customs ports and other approved entry points of nigeria customs service , Nagaff shall continue to support and protect all members  engaged in best practices in the customs approved entry points in the course of their legitimate trade , We assure you of our direct contact with the top managent cadre  of the service and in particular the CGC who is not ready to tolorate any thing to the contrary on matters of abuse of due process , indiscipline and corruption act , We must all support the incoming govt to deal decissively with matters of corruption and disrespect to lawful orders of the govt , It is the view of nagaff that nigerians voted for change and it is therefore our duty to ensure that the govt achieve the objective , To achieve the desired change we must be patriotic , hard working and law abiding in our country , DR ANIEBONAM FOUNDER NAGAFF HQRS LAGOS
